What we automate
Every cell is built around your part and your cycle time, not taken from a catalogue. The most common applications:
- Machine tending: loading and unloading presses, lathes, machining centres and special-purpose machines.
- Pick and place and handling: picking from conveyors or trays, guided by machine vision.
- 3D bin picking: picking randomly placed parts from bins with Keyence RB series 3D vision, with no manual sorting.
- Palletising and depalletising of cartons, sacks and crates.
- Finishing: sanding, deburring and polishing, with the tool path simulated before anything is built.
- Assembly, dispensing and bonding, including Henkel adhesives.
- Autonomous logistics: such as our robot that unloads containers, recognising cartons with artificial intelligence.
Cobot or industrial robot
We integrate Fairino cobots, from the 3 kg FR3 to the 30 kg FR30, Elite Robots cobots, Yaskawa industrial robots and Mitsubishi Electric SCARA robots. A cobot is ideal where space is tight, production changes often or the operator works alongside the robot. An industrial robot is the answer when speed and heavy payloads matter. We decide together, based on the numbers.
The gripper is designed around your part
The grip is where a cell succeeds or fails. That is why we design and build SynHexis grippers: electric, vacuum or mechanical, with fingers shaped to the part and 3D printed.
How we work
- Process analysisWe start from a video or a site visit: parts, cycle times, floor space and safety constraints.
- Feasibility study and ROIWe simulate the system and calculate its payback period before you commit.
- Design and buildMechanical design, control panels and software under one roof, with grippers designed around your part.
- Commissioning and trainingWe install, test with your own parts and train your operators.
- Documentation and CE markingManuals, wiring diagrams, risk assessment and CE declaration included.
- SupportThe software is ours, so we adapt it when your production changes.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a robotic cell cost?
It depends on the part, the cycle time, the safety requirements and how much integration with your existing line is needed. That is why the first step is a feasibility study with an ROI calculation: you know the cost and the payback period before you decide.
Cobot or industrial robot: which is better?
A cobot makes sense when the robot works close to people, production changes frequently or floor space is limited. For heavy payloads and very demanding cycle times, a guarded industrial robot is often the better choice. We integrate both: Fairino and Elite Robots cobots, Yaskawa industrial robots and Mitsubishi Electric SCARA robots, and choose according to the process.
Is the cell CE marked?
Yes. Every system is delivered with a risk assessment, an operation and maintenance manual, wiring diagrams and a CE declaration.
Can you integrate the cell with my existing machines?
Yes. We tend presses, lathes, machining centres and special-purpose machines, communicating with their PLC via I/O or fieldbus.
Where do you work?
Worldwide. We design and build in Gallarate, near Milan Malpensa airport, install and commission on site and provide remote support.
